Elizabeth Stewart - Web and content designer in Pittsburgh, PA.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, I graduated from Penn State in 2021 with degree in web integrations and design. Since 2020, I have worked for a small medical software company as a web and user experience designer. I value communication, collaboration, and most of all, creativity. I enjoy getting to know an audience's needs and problems, then working with my team mates to create valuable products and content that give them valuable solutions.
I don't like to take myself too seriously - but I do take my work seriously, and my work ethics reflect that way of life.
My responsibilities and achievements in this role include, but are most definitely not limited to the following...
- Create & publish engaging ad content and copy for social media platforms and websites using Adobe Creative Cloud & Canva.
- Manage company Facebook and LinkedIn (June 2024-present).
- Designed graphics and copy for company merchandise, informational flyers and magazines for industry conferences.
- Designed high-fidelity prototypes that were used to develop customer facing web applications that streamlined administrative tasks, reduced user errors, improved customer experience.
- Independently completed a redesign of company WordPress website, eliminating over 2,000 errors and duplicate content, enhancing user experience using industry best practices for content flow and organization.
- Authored and published over 25 company blogs, including the company’s most top-performing article on social media, leading to increased social activity, social media followers, and web traffic.
- Increased online visibility and search engine performance by optimizing SEO and keyword strategy resulting in a boost in Google ranking from #26 (third page) to #3 (first page).
- Built software architecture diagrams that facilitated that launch of new software development projects and communicated user workflows to stakeholders.
- Help create and maintain a fun and healthy working environment by bringing a positive attitude everyday, cleaning up after myself in the breakroom, sharing appreciation for my coworkers, and delivering on my commitments.
