[Short Version]

Hi there! I’m a Pittsburgh native, currently living here with my husband after raising two wonderful sons. My journey in web design began with a Baccalaureate degree in Web Integrations and Design from Penn State, which I proudly completed in 2021. Woohoo.

Since 2020, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various creative and technical roles. I started as a Jr. Web Designer at a medical software company, where I quickly became involved in high-impact projects working as the sole front-end designer for the company. I’ve spent the last 4 years designing and building engaging web pages, mocking up prototypes for user interfaces,  creating social media graphics, improving page authority and conversion rates through a comprehensive WordPress CMS redesign, or developing intuitive user interfaces.  I’ve always focused on crafting seamless, user-friendly experiences and being a relliable and trustworthy member of the team. 

 My work has spanned multiple digital platforms. I’ve authored and published over 20 articles on trending industry topics, product updates, and marketing campaigns. I’ve also created content for email campaigns, social media posts, and print media, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging. Leveraging AI tools, I’ve created marketing emails, blog posts, and social content, always refining the output for accuracy, creativity, and effectiveness.

One of my biggest independent projects to date was redesigning a WordPress site. I built a custom theme from scratch, improving site performance and leading to a 13% increase in web form conversions and a 20% growth in organic traffic. I also performed a comprehensive site audit, resolving over 2,000 technical issues, reducing load time by 300ms, and eliminating unused plugins to enhance site speed and security.

Throughout my career, I’ve managed multiple projects simultaneously, always meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. I’ve collaborated with cross-functional teams to streamline applications, optimize content flow, and improve conversion rates through strategic design prototypes and content enhancements. Whether creating wireframes, mockups, or custom templates, I always ensure the user is at the heart of the experience.

Whether improving UX through accessibility guidelines, conducting in-depth user research, or implementing effective SEO strategies, I’m passionate about helping products and content make a lasting impact.

When I’m not designing, writing, or collaborating on creative projects, you can find me enjoying adult ballet and contemporary classes at PBT, hiking and fishing in the great outdoors, playing with my dog, Sasha, or listening to music for inspiration. My family is incredibly important to me, and I love finding new ways to balance work and personal passions.
